DoNotify + Calendly
A voice call before every meeting someone books with you
Connect DoNotify to your Calendly account and you'll receive a phone call before every meeting a guest books — automatically, with no setup required per event type. Stop scrambling because you forgot someone booked a slot.
Connect once
Link your Calendly account once and all future bookings trigger calls.
Fully automatic
Every new booking triggers a reminder. No per-event configuration.
Rings through silence
An actual phone call that rings even on silent or Do Not Disturb.
Create your DoNotify account
Sign up for DoNotify if you haven't already. After signing up, go to your Profile and add your phone number — this is the number that will be called before each meeting.
Required: A phone number must be saved in your profile before you connect Calendly. This is the number DoNotify will call.
Connect your Calendly account
Navigate to Calendar Reminders → Calendly in your dashboard, or go directly to /calendar/calendly/connect.
- a. Click Connect Calendly.
- b. Calendly will open an authorization screen. Click Allow to grant DoNotify permission to read your scheduled events and receive new booking notifications.
- c. You'll be redirected back to DoNotify. Once connected, DoNotify automatically registers a webhook with Calendly — so every new booking is sent to DoNotify instantly.
DoNotify uses Calendly's official webhook API. Your event content and guest details are only used to schedule the reminder call — nothing is stored beyond the meeting time and title.
Set your lead time
On the Calendly settings page, choose how many minutes before each meeting you want the call. The default is 15 minutes. Pick something that gives you enough time to get ready — 5, 10, 15, 30 minutes, or 1 hour.
When someone books a meeting, DoNotify schedules the reminder at exactly (meeting start time − your lead time). You can update this setting at any time and it will apply to all future bookings.
You're done — just keep taking bookings
That's it. From this point on, every new Calendly booking automatically creates a DoNotify reminder. You don't need to do anything per event — the moment a guest books, DoNotify is notified and schedules your call.
What happens when someone books
A guest books a meeting via your Calendly link
Calendly confirms the booking and immediately notifies DoNotify via webhook.
DoNotify schedules the reminder
DoNotify calculates the reminder time (meeting start − your lead time) and queues the call.
Your phone rings before the meeting
At the scheduled time, DoNotify places a voice call to your number. The call reads the event name and guest's name, giving you time to prepare.
Logged in DoNotify
Every call is logged in your Call Logs. You can see the full history of reminders and their status.
Cancellations and rescheduling
When a guest cancels a booking, Calendly notifies DoNotify and the pending reminder is automatically cancelled — no stray calls.
If a meeting is rescheduled, DoNotify cancels the old reminder and creates a new one for the updated time. Your phone will ring at the correct time relative to the new meeting slot.
Frequently asked questions
Does this work with all Calendly event types?
Yes. DoNotify uses Calendly's account-level webhook, so it receives notifications for all event types on your account — one-on-one, group, collective, and round-robin events.
What Calendly plan do I need?
Calendly's webhook API requires the Standard plan or higher (not the free plan). If you're on the free Calendly plan, you'll need to upgrade to use this integration.
What does the phone call say?
The call reads your event name and the guest's name. For example: "This is DoNotify. You have a meeting — 30 Minute Call with Jane Smith — starting in 15 minutes."
Does it count against my notification quota?
Yes. Each call counts as one notification against your monthly DoNotify quota, the same as Google Calendar or monday.com reminders.
How do I disconnect Calendly?
Go to Calendar Reminders → Calendly and click Disconnect. DoNotify will remove the webhook from Calendly and stop creating reminders for new bookings. Existing pending reminders will also be cancelled.
Never miss a meeting again
